Those who belong to Christ are secure in their identity as God’s beloved children. Though they currently live in a broken world filled with suffering and weakness, they are not left alone. The Spirit helps them, intercedes for them, and assures them that in all things — without exception — God is actively working for their ultimate good, because He has a glorious, eternal purpose for them that culminates in conformity to the image of His Son.
