The Apostle Paul was beaten and left for dead in Lystra after he had visited the churches that he had planted 5 or 6 years before that. People are very fickle. We cannot seek our validation from man, only God. Well, Paul was not dead, and it was after this incident that he met a young lad named Timothy, whom he would call his "son in the faith". Timothy would become one of Paul's greatest companions. Pastor Don will cover the many excuses we make that hinder simple obedience to the call.
