JUSTIFICATION

Romans chapter 3 brings us face-to-face with one of Christianity's most foundational truths: we cannot earn our way to God. This passage systematically dismantles every human excuse and self-justification, showing us that both those who have God's law and those who don't stand equally guilty before Him. The Jewish people had an incredible advantage—they were entrusted with God's written word, preserved with meticulous care by scribes who honored every letter as sacred. Yet even this privilege didn't make them righteous by default. What emerges from this sobering reality is a glorious truth: God offers us a righteousness that comes apart from our own efforts. We are justified freely by His grace through the redemption found in Christ Jesus.
