Three Strikes

The religious leaders struck out three times in this passage with Jesus. In the first case, they rejected the authority of the Father. Secondly, they rejected the authority of the Son. Then, they rejected the authority of the Holy Spirit, thus, they would be left out of the next dispensation. God has a plan, and it involves mor than just the Jews. It is important to remember that God is not done with the Jews, and He will deal with them again in the end.
