THE GOD WHO KEEPS US STABLE!

We wrapped up our journey through Romans 16 this week, and Paul's closing words carry a serious charge: mark those who cause division contrary to sound doctrine, and stay rooted in what is good. It is a warning as relevant today as it was then.

Pride divides. Humility unites. And the enemy gets far too much traction when we lose sight of that truth.

The closing benediction reminds us that God alone is able to establish us, to keep us stable through every trial, to present us faultless before his glory with exceeding joy. That is not something we manufacture. It is something we receive as we trust him. As Isaiah 40 reminds us, those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.
