RIOTessness

Jesus told us that the "gates of hell will not prevail" against the church. We tend to think that this means that hell will never be able to get to the church. What it really means is that hell cannot withstand Heaven! Whenever you preach the gospel, there will be naysayers and even vulgar and violent reactions. Jesus IS a threat to the darkness. If you do not believe this, it only means that you have never lived your Christian life out loud. Let's look in at what happened in Ephesus when he preached the gospel to those contrary to the God.
